Our Story
As a sustainability professional, I founded a consulting company to use my experience and skills to work with small-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and organizations to track, improve and certify sustainability indicators as well as build a culture of sustainability.
I’ve always believed that business processes and procedures are the best way to achieve sustainability. Sustainability enables businesses and organizations to be more efficient and enables long-term thinking which leads to reduced risk and more comprehensive strategic planning. Improving the environmental and social impact of your organization is also an important component of operating responsibly for customers and the public.

Chantal Forgues brings over 15 years of experience in integrating sustainability into core business strategies. With a dual academic foundation, an MBA and a Master’s in Environmental Studies from Concordia University, Chantal specializes in aligning environmental responsibility with business efficiency.
Chantal has dedicated her career to integrating long-term, efficient strategies that drive organizational success. Recognizing that sustainability compels businesses to think beyond immediate gains, Chantal focuses on implementing systems that not only enhance operational efficiency but also foster enduring relationships with customers and the broader community. Her approach ensures that sustainability is not just an environmental and social consideration but a core component of business excellence and public trust.
Throughout her career, Chantal has worked on sustainability initiatives across various sectors, including corporate, academic, and community organizations. Notably, as Lead Sustainability Advisor at Cogeco Communications, she administered ESG reporting, investor relations, and sustainable finance projects, ensuring compliance with global standards such as GRI and SASB.
At Lyria, Chantal focuses on developing comprehensive sustainability action plans tailored for small to medium-sized enterprises. The approach emphasizes stakeholder engagement, risk management, and the implementation of sustainability frameworks that align with clients’ long-term business objectives.
Beyond consultancy, Chantal is actively involved in community initiatives, including co-creating sustainability programs in educational settings including university, school board and elementary school levels.
